So you get the currency when you get there. No big deal as there's always loads of cash machines at the airport blah blah and why would I worry when I've told the bank and natwest know I'm away for afew months so there's no dodgy card action going on apart from the purchase of more leopard print.
Couldn't get any money out of the ATM but luckily a couple of birthday cards saved the day with some money in.
After checking into the hotel tried my card again and message came up that it was blocked...or and a text to say the fraud team needed to speak with me. That's after me being organised so you could say wasn't that pleased and will have to use my favourite line when making a complaint 'don't you know who I am as in I do this for a job!'.
Still unable to get any money after 24hrs and was starting to get abit stressed as in this money is going to run about tomorrow...and let's not forget the telephone banking, lost card line which when you call it says you are in a queue then cuts you off. Really not helpful when you are getting charged a ridiculous amount for every time you make a call.
Anyway sorted now thanks to a top mate you has now claimed unofficial role as my personal trip advisor and got the bank to call me. Have also found out what the suspected fraudulent activity was £19.50 M&S and £5 boots the chemist transactions. Obviously that's put my mind at rest. Natwest you have been warned!!!!!
